• Decisions...　3/8/2003

  Taken just before the move to our new place in 2003.  Sonny B tries to decide whether to keep his worn-out moldy elementary book backpack, known in Japanese as a Randoseru, and a proud day it is when the spanking new first grader shoulders this attachment and departs for his first day of classes.  This word is probably borrowed from some other language... assistance anyone?  (A backpack is called a Ryukku, probably related to rucksack.) B finally decided to chuck the bag anyway, after cyberimmortalizing it.
