We made a trip to the Jindai Temple (Tokyo) on an overcast December day. Here are some pictures of a large ceramic renditions of a beast called a tanuki, or raccoon dog, ain't he cute? Not in my garden, I don't think. But then again, maybe these are better than gnomes or pink flamingoes.

@azn_x_strike - Yeah, that's what happens when you leave them outside in the winter, they turn blue.
