Here are a couple of pictures from around the neighborhood that cause one to scratch one's head. This one was taken from Kujirabashi Bridge. Why did this guy refuse to sell his land and force builders to make a detour around it? This makes for interesting sidewalk design as well. (2014 - The guy sold the land and the road is now straight. The area between the lanes is now a place for unneeded construction fill.)
Why bother putting up walls around a facility so immodestly constructed?
