Zoorasia Tapir 6/5/2004
We went to Zoorasia near Yokohama yesterday. It is a smaller zoo than Ueno or Tama Zoo, but very nicely done, and with comfortable places for the animals to dwell. The day was not so hot, so they were all pretty lively. I did not know tapirs enjoyed swimming! They seem to do other things in the water, too, ala hippopotami.
