Happy New 2006!
I got all the New Year's cooking done. Here it is in my very own serving box.
All packed and ready to eat on New Year's morning.
Here is my dog watching the "Kohaku Utagassen," or the traditional New Year's Eve singing show. Woof. He is watching Kobayashi Sachiko, who usually wears a dress every year that is more like a building than a garment. She is singing her last note of triumph.
See the tape over the TV switch? It is broken, and rather than spending the money to have it fixed Aki duct taped it because he does not want to invest in fixing it. Whatever works! He is hoping that this TV will die soon because he really wants a flat screen TV that has a clearer picture. Is that a good thing? You can see all the wrinkles on the newscasters really well! I am getting to hate TV anyway, so it is all the same to me. I only need it once a week to watch the medical horror show and the antique appraisal show. Does that mean I am a medically horrible antique?
