Writing from school.  One of our teachers is out this week, and since there is not substitute teacher system in Japan, when one is out, other teachers must cover the classes, so that is what I am doing this week, extra classes.  Well, I was out for a week a couple of years ago, and someone was kind enough to take my classes, so it's my turn to return the favor.  Busy, busy!  We are also recording the dialogs in the junior high textbooks over the next three weeks.  Gonna split the 7th grade conversation classes into different levels, so we are interviewing kids to see how much if any previous experience they have.  One kid cracked me up!  I was interviewing before lunchtime, and I asked her, "How old are you?" several times, but the only answer I got was, "I'm hungry!!"  "No, no, I know lunch is next!  Now, how OLD are you?"  "OH!  I'm 12 and hungry."

And thanks to Diane in Arizona for all the good advice!!

Speaking of hungry... You'll loose your appetite with the next entry.
