Somebody is selling the Strolling Bones' Keith Richards guitar on eBay.  You can "Buy it Now" for $4000!  It is autographed and has authentic cigarette burns.  The seller recommends that it not be played in trees, though.

I suppose this fellow would be an exception...

Didn't make it to Costco, didn' t even make it out of the house, but I now have very clean curtains, bathrooms, laundry and bird cages as well as a couple of loaves of home made bread that I almost forgot to put the yeast into.  I thankfully remembered and kneaded it all in last, but the bread still did not rise as well as it might have.  Maybe it was the corn meal that weighed it down.  Maybe my brains are still fried.  Also called Mrs. C and Barbara to let them know that I am still alive, maybe.  Should call Mrs. I, who was our next door neighbor in Shinjuku and has also recently moved to Inagi, but I don't have time to see her this week.  Tomorrow is back to school, but the schedule is light, so I can slip out to make some plane reservations.  I am being gently nagged from that side of the ocean, and not so gently nagged from this side.  Also, Shusaku has a short live show in Shibuya that I hope to take in tomorrow evening, so gotta make something reheatable so supper can be on the table quick.  Sorry this is not intellectual or fascinating.  Ok, really gotta get a life today.

Edit:  I did get out to Costco, and picked up 9 grain bread, 8 cans of beans, 6 lbs. of pretzels, 5 roasting hot dogs, 3  Masala Teas, 2 lbs of cheese, 1 smoked salmon and some cookie samples offered for free!  No lamb chops this time, and no de-caf coffee either.  Somethymes they have things and somethymes they don't.   Getting to Costco is a bit of a pain, but only a bit.  I have to go a few stops on the train and then walk about 15 minutes, which is ok, but hauling the stuff back is a bit of a hassle, because Cosco sells in bulk quantities, and I have to haul it in my little $10.00 wheelie bag, no car.  2000 paces each way, count 'em!  I sure did.
