June 3, 2006 Flight Schedule and Zoo
I was finally able to make some plane reservations for the summer. I will be arriving in Albany on July 25th and departing on August 2nd, and Ei will be arriving July 25 and departing on August 8th, if that is all right with everyone.
We did get to the zoo today. There was a very interesting duet between the tiger and the wolves next door! I attempted to post videos of the duet, but You Tube is telling me that the files are invalid. I will try again tomorrow, as it is almost midnight here.
Howling
Who is looking at who? The orangutan is entertaining himself observing the humans.
Mama is keeping an eye on Junior.
"Hey Mom, that leaf looks good!"
A human using tools
It's snack time, mates!
"Don't mind if I do." Kangaroos are better equipped than rabbits as far as front paw use is concerned. Rabbits cannot hold anything with their front paws, but the do scratch for digging or attention. Ah, for those good old rabbity days... but I know what they do, and I know what would happen to my leather chairs and later to my wallet when the thing would get sick as I know it would. But I digress.
I am a sucker for baby pictures.
After snack time comes...

A Friendly Tussle
Here is a reindeer on vacation. He sure looks like he could use one! When reindeer walk around their feet really do click, so some parts of the "Up on the Rooftop" song are not fantasy.
This golden tarkin is scratching his jaw on a log. Ooh, that feels good.
