The 8th District Speech Contest took place today. The speeches went on all afternoon in a heated auditorium that got all the hotter as the time went on! It is hard to know what the judges are looking for, but our school took one of the prizes. Pics later!
I did not have time to stay to watch all of the awards, as hubby was hungry at home. I mentioned that I had to leave because I had not trained him well, and was asked if I had forgotten to put newspaper down on the floor before I left. Yep, that's about the size of it. Giggle, snicker, snort!

Yah. You're poor brother would have to fend for himself. You're such a good wife! Hugs! Ann
I should add that I ended up getting taken out to dinner, as that was the quickest way of solving the problem.
