My goodness, I seem to have lost my blogerythm lately. But the dishes are getting washed and the laundry is getting hung out... I am way behind in Nishida Sermons.
Ok, here is the speech contest bunch, the girls and their coaches. I don't quite understand quite what the judges are looking for... Our girls have their speeches memorized to perfection, yet the the prizes go to the ones who use their notes. Well, our bunch did their absolute best, and we couldn't have asked for any better.

You know about my letter writing binge? I told Mrs Hat I was going to write a letter to PM Abe and send him a photo of a bunch of his sailors at the Alamo here in Texas. They were perfectly well behaved and respectful of waht is called the shrine of Texas independence. They were visisting while we were there on vacation. She is fairly convinced I am going to get on somebody's list of folks to watch closely. =D So if you here on the news... lol.
