  • Not much exciting to report.  After some cleaning up I listened to Dr. Dobson on the Internet while making an ironing board cover.  Then I went to city hall to get a proof of alien registration and then went across the street to the local police station to have the address on my driver's license changed.  They told me that my license will expire at the end of November which I already knew, and were kind enough to give me a map of how to get to the place.  I think it may be a bit far to get to by bike.  I also did some looking around for a church to attend on the Sundays that I am in Fukuoka, and was able to locate one near Ohori Park.  Just go down Meiji Dori St. and turn left when you see the Mr. Donuts with the miniature merry go round inside.  After turning left just keep going straight until you see the church on your right.  You can't miss it.  I say this after riding around the neighborhood for at least half an hour.  I had a only a vague idea of where the church was, but now that I have located it I should be able to get back to it with no problem.  Also started making another Christmas tree, pink this time.  Strange, huh?

    Church                    Free Parking

Here are a couple of pics.  Left is the church and right is kind of funny.  It's a sign at the entry to a bike parking lot.  It says, "Free Space - for a charge."
