• Leaving for a few days in Kagoshima today and will be back Jan. 2.  Here are a couple of delightful things on which to feast your eyes until we get back.

  

  I found these on a walk on the local beach.  These poor critters were certainly infested by something!  My sempai in life (Barbara Sugihara) informs me that her kids call these "unchigai" which translates as "poop shells."

  

  At Toys R Us...  It was love at first sight!  This kid better get some new glasses.
