There is a flea market within walking distance at the Yahoo Dome Baseball Stadium today. Gotta go and buy something that I didn't know existed and that I don't need. I will TRY to just look, I really will.
Later: Here is Yahoo Dome, the local baseball stadium. Those who wanted to enter the flea market had to pay 700 Yen to get in once for the day. I felt like beefing a bit about how I shouldn't have to pay for the privelege of looking over people's junk, but I don't suppose that the people in the ticket office have anything to do with that as they are just cashiers. Hey, I was a cashier once!
After paying to get in it would be a waste not to get anything, right? Fortunately, there was not much that I wanted, just a blingy barrette, a used white MCM bag and a brightly colored used child's kimono, all quite cheap. There was a very nice fellow selling lovely icons from Europe for only around $300. I thanked him for letting me look and moved on. They were really very nice, but not that nice. Anyway, here is the scenery. I forgot to take the beeeg camera, so these are from my phonecam.
Sadaharu Oh, Japan's home run king is the coach for the local team, the Hawks.
I know I must seem very worldly lately. I have been in the Word, just not writing it down here. John MacArthur's present series on Daniel is excellent as usual. I mean, what else could JMac be but excellent? I have also been finishing up Pastor Nishida's Revelation series by listening to tapes borrowed from church in Tokyo and now I have to write that up here. I have also been doing studies in Isaiah with a friend.
People in Nevada were offended because Michelle Obama said Nevaaaahda indead or Neveada? How stupid is that? Maybe living in two or three languages has made me a bit more tolerant of honest mistakes. In the news it just looks like everyone is just waiting to make petty linguistic PC pounces on everyone else.

Hahaha. Reminds me of the Japanese Church in Boston's "Furi Furi Maaketto." :3
God bless,

Yeah. People get pretty petty over here at election time. I just want to know their policies and get a true sense of their character. It all gets pretty juvenile. Hugs! Ann
