2Do list:
Take a bike ride all over town and take pictures of seven portable floats and fourteen decorative floats that are for the Yamakasa festival to be held in Fukuoka later this month. More about this later. I ran across the one set below in Tenjin (downtown Fukuoka) and snapped pics fore and aft with my phonecam. I am not sure what story is being portrayed at the front, but the back side has characters from the "Ge Ge Ge no Kitarou" cartoons.
To the right is the fore of the decorative float and left is smaller portable float is in front of the aft of the decorative float. Got that?? I am going to have to take my beeeg camera next time. See the six poles under the float? People use those to carry the float around town for the best time. Hub says this might be a float that kids carry.
I was finally able to rent a shelf in a plastic doll store cabinet downtown. I really have an overabundance of Barbie dolls in my collection and would like to sell some of them. I could do it on eBay, but this seems simpler. I have to get them price tagged and ready to go.
Try making an eye doctor appt. in Kagoshima for Bachan next week by phone from Fukuoka.

your to do list just gets longer and longer. I'm tired just thinking about it. It does sound really in teresting though. I'm looking forward to the pictures.
Good luck with the eye appointment.
@Gramcface - I don't mind if the list is one I make for myself. The pictures should be fun and I have been waiting for the place in the cabinet for a few months, so it should be fun to get the Barbie culling project going.
Taking care of business in distant cities requires a bit more mental effort.
That looks very interesting!!
