Wow!! My mom and I watched the video--that is so cool!! I have no idea how anyone could do something like that...... (Oh, and I kept forgetting to tell you, when you had your picture as the silly Mona Lisa, my mom saw it and she stared laughing. She thought it was SO funny .)
@Me_and_Violet - I have six Mona Lisa versions somewhere... My dad send me the video.
How is Violet doing? Last time I heard Chuchu was all right. When I am in Tokyo I slip him some bird seed. He just loves that crunchy stuff. I tried to provide him with some live entertainment once by putting the bird cage in his circle once, but he pulled out the bottom drawer and started eating the paper on the bottom of the cage, along with all of the other "goodies." Oh well, I tried. In time I imagine he would have figured out that he could use the bird cage as an escape platform from his enclosure, too.
Bunnies are so silly, aren't they? Violet is doing just fine and annoying me every time I put the "goop" (ointment) on her eye. She'll be going to the vet again on Monday...so hopefully her eye is getting better.
@Me_and_Violet - That's good to know. I'll bet Violet is not happy about medicine in her eye, either. You know the sitting "trap bunny between your legs and block backwards escape with your feet" tactic, right?
Yes....I do know that one (), but what I do with Violet (I've held her like this when petting her since I first got her, so she tends not to squirm) is lay down on the floor and hold her on top of me. It makes it a lot easier to put the ointment on, too. (And I forgot to say, she doesn't really squirm much, but I have to be careful not to touch the tip of the ointment tube to her eye because I guess bacteria can get into the ointment if anything touches the tip...and I don't know if you've had any experience with eye ointments, but you're supposed to squeeze it in a line across the eye, and it doesn't really stick to the eye like normal ointment does on skin, so if she moves even just a little bit, it messes up the ointment and makes me upset....)
@Me_and_Violet - She is lucky to have you. I would just sit on her and be done with it. Hahaha! What is V getting for Christmas? The birthday picture was soooo cute. Make some cute hats for her and David the guinea pig and put up a picture!!

I gave Violet and David each a whole chip for Christmas. They liked them (of course they did!).
Oh, and Merry Christmas!!
