From August 14
Today's Go Somewhere was an art gallery in Tokyo's Roppongi district.
On exhibit were the works of Rene Lalique, a designer of jewelry and glass. The poster features a poppy brooch that Lalique made for a girlfriend.
Inside the gallery
The Subway shops featured two kinds of Indian curry sandwhiches during the summer that were absolutely delicious! It's too bad that it was just seasonal and they are no longer available.
After the art gallery we took a walk in Harajuku, and I stopped into Kiddyland to check out the Barbie doll situation, but I bahaved myself and came out empty handed.
Here is the Louis Vuitton shop, obviously. I would never buy a LV bag (unless it were a Sac Plat) because every young thing and their cat owns one. I am too old for LV, and even if I do like the look of a Sac Plat I don't care for the price. Alviero Martini Prima Classe map bags are more my thing. Anyway, the storefront looked Christmassy with all of the colored lights.
Here is what a Sac Plat looks like in case anyone has one they don't want...
