  • Oct. 17 National Art Museum - Ueno

    Today was a trip to the National Art Museum in Ueno in Tokyo.  I was surprised to see people taking pictures of the pictures, but was assured by one of the gaurds on duty that it was all right.  So, here is some of what I wanted to bring home.

    Hubby has worked at this museum, and says that this Renoir harem scene was EXPENSIVE.

    I think this was called "Lovely Cow" by DuBuffet.  Looks like lovely roadkill to me, so ugly that it appeals to me in my own strange way.  There was a picture of his wife hanging next to this.  I hope she smacked him.
