Still trying to reset, not accomplishing much. Probably going to Arita on Wednesday. Truthfully I am not enjoying the coming of my third spring away from home. I know that God has a plan and all that, and I feel a but guilty for not enjoying it. Last week was not fun... Pain in my legs, second round of antibiotics for a cough and fever that won't go away, other things that I am not sharing with all and sundry... I just wanna sleep!
A word from the future- What was wrong with my legs was a prescription for a drug called Purabanoru (I think) from the Kinen Byoin Hospital in Ninshijin. If you are ever in an ambulance in Fukuoka, tell them to leave you in the gutter before they take you to that hospital. Purabanoru is supposed to stop, um, bleeding. I was having ob/gyn "symptoms" and just wanted to have them checked out, and the Dr. put me on that drug, which did clear up the problem, but also had side effects of leg pain, swelling and blood clots. When one goes off Purabanoru you suffer withdrawal symptoms unlike any murder scene you could imagine. Don't even think about coughing, let alone going anywhere! Take a blood sample?? Dunno if I have any left, sorry. This Dr. could not keep track of his own schedule. I mean, the nurses were telling him where he was supposed to be when.
The fever? Dunno what that was from, but never take codeine for a cough. You have really EVIL dreams.
