• July 13, 2010 Yamakasa Shudan Yamamise

  On this day of the Yamakasa festival, all of the floats are carried from the Hakata side of the city to the Fukuoka side.  All of the groups extend their greetings at the city hall and then take the floats back to their various stations around the city in preparation for the big race that will take place tomorrow.  I am just posting these pictures, as most of them require no explanation.  Just look and enjoy!  There is more explanation to be seen in last year's pictures.  Click here to see.
