Thanks to everyone for all of the concern. I spent the night sleeping in the hall (Many injuries in earthquakes result from falling furniture.) and sometimes it felt a bit like I was sleeping on a bit of Jello. Damage in Tokyo is very minimal since things are built to be shaken, and what you are seeing on TV is probably much farther north. Now typing sitting on more Jello. Why do I have a headache?
The dish cupboard that I thought moved itself may not have. This morning I see that it is warped to the left. Hubby has been wanting to get rid of it for quite awhile and this might be his excuse. His sake cup collection did not suffer too much damage. Dotter is on her way home this morning on a train that is running very slow, and Hubby is staying at work for a bit longer as he is second in command there.
