July 23, 2011 Kagoshima Ogionsa
We are off to Kagoshima to visit MIL again.

These are some goings-on the day before the Ogionsa Festival in Kagoshima. We will not be able to attend the actual event this year, but will see it next year, peeing horse and all.
This is a portable shrine which will be carried in the parade tomorrow, and the ladies and gents will practice carrying them.
