October 8, 2012 Jindai Botanical Garden

Today's "Go Somewhere" is Jindai Botanical Gardens.  Those who don't like bugs, look no further, you have been warned.

By the time fall arrives, courtesan spiders grow bit and fat and are quite easy to spot as they weave their webs wide enough to catch anything flying by.  The smaller male spider had best finish his business and make his escape!

    Look out, DH!

    Spiders in the Sky

Do I have to say that this is a snail?

Here are some higanbana or cluster amaryllis that have finished blooming above and that are still blooming below.

This would have been better had the wasp been facing the camera.

    Loaded up with Pollen

This bee was so laden with pollen that people were pointing at the "white bee."

    Hanging Gourds

Pretty Flowers near the Hanging Gourds

I had heard of crow melons before, but this is a smaller version called sparrow melons.

And those were all of the pictures that interested me from the trip today.
