Back from the funeral. It was not too sad, because even though her body was still alive she was not living in it anymore. She had left gradually over a period of a few years, and it was sad to see her going downhill, but there was nothing that anyone could do to stop it. Only turning back the clock would have made any kind of a difference, and that was not within our power to do. I am just thankful the she got such wonderful care in her last days, much better than we could have given her. I didn't take many pictures because Bachan did not look like Bachan laying in the casket, and I wanted to remember her as she was in better days.
