Chapel is getting too complicated for me. In the past people were not so persnickety about the poor girl who does the introductions and opening prayer, but now we have to write her a script and fix all her reading of it twice. Too many cooks in my broth. I am going to have to learn how to use PowerPoint better, and why did the organist assume that I wanted her to play four times for three verses? She should have asked. I should have told her. The hymn was "Morning has Broken" and why does my cell phone have to start going "Cuckoo!!" just as the "Blackbird has spoken??" I know God's timing is perfect, but was that His idea of a joke? LOL I put my hand over my pocket to try and smother the stupid noise and then turned the thing off under the podium. Thank goodness no one else heard it or my goose would have been in the broth, too. SKREEM. It would also be nice if I could remember to plug the computer in. Am I getting old, or just unable to handle too many events? Or maybe I have just been driven to distraction over a period of years.

Lovely devotional! Technology is a lot to keep up with. And it is soooo distracting. Fortunately, Steve is my powerpoint guru. I provide the info and he makes it look good! I suppose if I work on a grad degree I will need to learn to do more of it myself...
