Pickled Piccolo
I got an Artley piccolo on eBay and the seller said that it worked great, but the thing is not playable. The thing has a sticky key and needs an overhaul. The lip plate is also dented in the front. I can only get a few decent notes - Back it goes, I think. I have gotten flutes in this condition and have had them fixed up, but I knew they were going to need work when I got them. I don't like it when a seller misrepresents an item as working great when it doesn't really work at all. Later - The seller was very nice about taking the piccolo back and giving me a refund. It was a nice little thing and had it not been dented I might have considered having it overhauled here.
