Thermae Romae 2
Tomorrow's "go somewhere" is to the movies to see Thermae Romae 2! It's the story of an ancient Roman bathhouse designer who makes time slip trips to Japan and gets all kinds of ideas that he takes back to use in Rome. It is an interesting and funny comparison of the bathing habits of both cultures. We could get either a 60yr.+ each discount 1,100 yen instead of 1,800 or a 50yr.+ married couple (same) discount. I thought the latter was more romantic. Later - We enjoyed the movie as much as we expected. They showed Thermae Romae 1 on TV last night, but there were so many long commercials that I am going to edit them out so we can watch the thing in peace.
Dern, they showed TR 1 on TV and is was pretty enjoyable, so I checked it out on Amazon.jp and the thing was on sale. What could I do? It will be delivered on Wednesday, so I had better get home from school and get to the mailbox before DH does. The movie is that good, really!
