Oh dear, here I go on a trip to Temptation City!
This rose jacket came home with me. Couldn't resist!
Obi belts on sale! The one below would have been nice as a decoration for Christmas, but I resisted.
These are kimonos made of a material called Oshima Tsumugi, and must have been very expensive new, now selling for $35 cheap.
Very nice bun, but what would I do with it?
Very nice shards from the pottery city of Karatsu. Rumor has it that these have all been picked up by collectors and are now not easy to come by. Dotter says that they even make counterfeits.
RCA Nipper and friend
Well, well, well, look who's here checking out kimonos!
Mike says these are opium pipes. Pretty fancy!
He wants to take all these home!
Ivory lady - She probably can't travel outside the country.
Now here is what Mike really wanted, a fireman's uniform in great condition with the matching hat and let guards. He almost bought it until he found out that there was one more zero in the price than he thought.
