Hey Grandma, I need money NOW! Beware!
They keep making announcements about "This is your son, I am in trouble and need lots of money RIGHT NOW" phone swindlers over the city public address system. I wonder if there has been a spate of this kind of swindling in the area. My mom in the US got one of these calls from her "grandson" who was in jail in need of bail because he got caught for drugs in a friend's car, but he was totally innocent, of course. Trouble is, there are three grandsons to choose from, so the caller had to give a name, which was Ryan. Now her sister has a grandson named Ryan, so it might have been fun to tell Ryan to call his "real" grandma. She would have given him a run for his money, in the opposite direction. It would have been fun to listen!
