Walk away
So much for tolerance. Just because I try to advocate a pro-life view and suggest that it is good for a man to be responsible enough to be married to the mother of the life that he helped create I get told to stop thumping my damned Bible, when I had not even mentioned the Bible. All of my legitimate questions were lost in an enormous school of hysterical red herrings. When I asked about clarification of misinformation I was conveniently ignored. I tried being polite, but decided that perhaps the best thing to do was to stop a conversation that was creating heat, not light. I also don't like it when I find myself becoming uncivil in response to admitted incivility. It is then time to end the conversation, but since one of the participants would not let it go I had to delete the entire thread and put it out of its misery. This is not running away, it is walking away from what is turning into a fight.
