I spent the afternoon repainting some stuff that goes back out on the veranda. Paint and wallpaper are in my blood from both sides of the family. My grandfather had a store on Upper Union Street, WH Stoddard and Sons He also did picture framing. My dad remodeled the entire attic into a huge bedroom for my brothers. Sheet rocking is something I never tried, but maybe I could do it after watching. Not ceilings, though. I remember my Grandma had to go into the hospital for a hernia operation and she was up in the hot attic painting the floor because she would not be able to do it for a while after surgery. My mother just rolled her eyes... Grandma stripped the varnish off all the woodwork in her home and painted it all white. She was quite the interior decorator!
