Seen this morning at a subway station. Older brother is perched on the front of his baby sister's carriage and mother tells him to get off a few times with no result. Mother threatens brother with taking him for a shot. Still no result. I just rolled my eyes.
Seen at a shopping mall outside the local train station. A two year old is standing and staring at her far off mother who is obviously waiting for her to catch up. It is clearly a stand-off. I ask little girly where her mommy is and suggest that we go to her. Girly trots over to Mommy quite willingly. I tell little girly that she is really good at walking and that she could probably even walk all the way home. Kinda cute, but mommies really need lessons in taking gentle control.
