Don't put things up there, ever!
Another day, another miracle. We got a call this morning from Keio Department Store that DH's briefcase that I had taken to be repaired was ready and we could pick it up anytime. Speaking of time, we had been thinking about getting a new wall clock, so off we went to Shinjuku to pick up the briefcase and pick out a clock. Both tasks accomplished, we headed home on the train and got off at our stop only to discover that we were minus the briefcase (with DH's reading glasses inside)!! Ok, on which of the two different trains that we used was the dern thing forgotten... We asked the kind Keio Line wicket worker for help, and he had all the trains and all the directions checked and no briefcase was to be found. Ok, God helps those who helps themselves. I went to the next station, Nagayama where all of the trains stop to do some checking myself. After finding nothing on the first couple of trains (looked at the wrong end of the train), I went to the right end and lo and behold, there was the briefcase on the shelf above the seats! It was a HALLELUJAH moment for sure!
