  • Ueno Daibutsu and Toshogu

    Today's GO SOMEWHERE is Ueno. It would have been nice to have gotten into the Jakuchu Exhibition, but I don't think that is going to happen...

    So, let's take a walk and visit Ueno's other attractions. Below is the great Buddha of Ueno, or what is left of the poor fellow. Between fires, earthquakes and metal gone to help the WWII efforts, this is all that is left of him.
