1. Jesus says that His kingdom is not of this world. Preach that He is Lord and leave personal politics out of the pulpit. They have nothing to do with the kingdom of God.
2. Yesterday we went to see an exhibition at Geidai about craft masterpieces of the Meiji Era and then to tour the restored Iwasaki Mansion near Yushima. On the way home we saw a mother and her child of about three sitting on the train. Mommy was too engrossed with the screen in her claw that she could not even make eye contact with her daughter, let alone bother to answer any of the questions that her little girl was asking. Mommy did I drink from you or from a bottle? A pretty important question, but Mommy hardly noticed or cared. She did put the phone away to change trains, but got it out again as she stood on the platform. Her little girl ran around and around her, the circles ever increasing in size.
3. Off to Tama Center to listen to a Berlioz concert. I doubt that I will nod off during this one! (^-^)
