What is it with this wind today? We had just been enjoying our snapdragons out on the veranda and the wind knocked something over on them and broke them off at the main stalk. I had been looking forward to them since I got the plant last fall. Well, snapdragons are amazingly hardy and something may grow back later. Meanwhile we stuck the stalk in water and will enjoy them inside until they whither. I am secretly hoping that it may put down some roots. Well, if this is my worst problem I am pretty lucky. The wind also knocked over the garbage can that I use to put rabbit turds in, so guess what is rolling all over outside.
Snapdragons smell like matsutake.
