Operation Toni
I will post this in case anyone was wondering about Toni doll's head anatomy. I got a doll on eBay with clouded eyes and cut hair. The head comes off pretty easily. The eyes did not come out so easily and it was not a pretty sight, as in gruesome. LOL. The eyes cleaned up some, not perfect, but much better and now I just have to get them back into the head somehow without hacking open the back of the eye pockets if I can avoid it. There is a factory machine that pulls eye sockets open in four directions allowing one to just plunk the eye in, but I don't happen to have one. Dern. I know how to replace hair, but this eyeball thing is uncharted territory.
This girl has definite vision problems! She also has some hair cut on the side.
Vision restored! Very hot water seems to have cleared out the mold or whatever it was on the eyeballs, and more hot water softened the head enough for me to be able to cram the eyes back into the sockets. I also gave the eyes a couple coats of clear nail polish to add a bit more sparkle. Now all she needs is a rerooting job.
