We discussed the water to wine miracle at Bible study this morning. I thought that is was interesting that Jesus told the servants to fill the water pots, the ones that held water for ceremonial cleansing. He didn't tell them to fill the empty wine jars with water, which to me would have made more sense. But by using pots that were never used for containing wine in the first place, would not that offer further confirming proof that this was indeed out of the ordinary?
