This is my actual kitchen. I use a couple of small hibachis for utensils/cooking chopsticks. The one on the right belonged to my mother in law who was a teacher of tea ceremony. The second picture shows typical Japanese kitchen equipment: a hot water pot, a rice cooker and an oven toaster. The stuff on the wall is an experiment and can be put away any time should I feel cluttered. The green and white silicone sheets under the appliances are to keep them from slipping off the counter should we have a major quake. A minor quake a couple of days ago had the hanging stuff swinging a bit.
