This shard was found during a neighborhood walk. I wonder how old it is.
Later - 8/18 We took the shard to Jomon no Mori in Tama Center, a place that deals in ancient cultural properties. We had an expert look at the shard and it was declared to be from the middle Jomon Period and is around 5,000 years old. When the weather cools off we will have to go back to that spot and see if we can find anything else.
