• Superbowl Half Time

  Regarding the recent Super Bowl half time show, I did make an effort to see what the fuss was about. It looked like Selena has taken some belly dancing lessons, and New-Lo ..well, that was not wholesome entertainment.. Those involved in the presentation are definitely not good role models for what girls should aspire to, nor are they models of what young men should be looking for as they choose the mothers of their children. Did the images of flames on the stage bother anyone?

  How much are we willing to compromise with the world in the name of sporting event? Do we love football more than Christ? The game and the raunchy halftime show are all one package that should be rejected in its entirety. Christian dads, why are you willing to drink the soup when you know that it contains poop? What kind of example is that for your children?

  The music industry's aim is to present debased content with the purpose of debasing the public. I suggest Mark Devlin's "Musical Truth" as a must-read. Although I do not agree with all that he has to say, I found that he reveals what really takes place.
