I learned to crochet from my Grandma Harriet with this stitch. She used to need something to do with her hands while watching TV and made lots of these afghans.

There is a funny looking tree that we can see from the bike on the way to and from day care. I borrowed this picture from the Internet, but it is close enough. Somebunny says it is a poop tree. Actually the brown lumps on the oak branches are galls created by the larvae of tiny wasps, but it is fun to laugh along the way.
