To GCF - Sending a CC to Alycia for her entertainment.
Well, today turned to cows... I forgot about going to treasure factory to sell off some more unneeded stuff, and it is probably a good thing. I went into the station to get the train to go and get my glasses (with remade proper lenses, and got a call from Moozie who had gotten a call from day care that I was supposed to pick Haru up RIGHT NOW because she was coughing, Oh, good grief. They kept her last week when she was worse than this. She is not bad actually. She coughs once an hour or so or she runs around. But they were kicking her out for the day, so I had to go back out of the station, but to do that I have to have the fare charge on the ticket card cancelled out. So I go to the window to do that and the man at the window tells me that since this card has Moozie's name on it that I am not supposed to be using it, and I should get another card of my own. If Moozie wants to cancel the card out, HE has to do it personally at a Japan Railways Company station and that that it can't be done on our train line. I know very well what Moozie will say they can do with the card.... There is only about $8 or so in the card anyway, and I will use it up and retire the card. ALL RIGHT ALL RIGHT....
Pick up the kid who is just fine and decide to take her with me to pick up the glasses. I dutifully get a new train card. So we go the two stations down the line and she wants a snack. What do you want? "I'll know when I get to the shops." ALL RIGHT She settled on the Golden Arches outdoor dining and a happy meal, and actually ate all of the chicken nuggets. We also learned to tell pigeons to stop staring at us and go away in English. We also got to see a bunch of them fighting over a chicken nugget that some kid at another table had dropped. Oh, the cannibalization....! Ok, then we got the glasses, which I must say are much better than the last lenses. I can actually see out of them.
Oh, now it is raining (no umbrellas as my original plan called for being back before the rain), but not too bad, and Haru announces that she has accidentally put her hand down on a stinkbug. Wonderful. We get off the train at our station and send her to the nearest puddle to get rid of some of the stink. Then off to a potty stop and a more proper hand wash, then shopping and straight to the dentist for Haru's app't. By the way, she has fallen asleep on the back of the bike and takes a five minute power nap, and man, is she empowered. Tells her life story to the dentist about how she used to live in that Prefecture that is shaped like a dinosaur and she rode the bullet train to get here. The app't is over, so then it is back home.
We have decided that since day care is so scared of THE COUGH, that Grandma, Moozie and little calf will take a trip outside for a picnic tomorrow since I don't dare send her in.. The destination is out of the neighborhood, so we will not be caught playing hooky, which we are actually not doing, because they said not to come until THE COUGH is gone. Good grief. Coronaphobia?
But, then I can't attend the online BSF meeting tomorrow, but it cannot be helped. Who can stop the bulldozer of Moozie?? I would not even think about suggesting it. So that is why I will not be online tomorrow morning for a birthday report.
