Nihonteien, Gokoku ShrineToday's "go somewhere" was in the city. First we went to a Japanese garden next to the art museum and than we took a walk through a nearby shrine. This heron was near the lake in Ohori Park. Spring is in the air! These mallards definitely had LUV on their minds as they fought over the territory. They actually did not notice us as they ran by at close range. One was acually trying to duck his competition by pushing him underwater, but I was not fast enough to get a picture of it. Here is a view of the garden with real water, and... ...imaginary water. Next on the walking tour is the local Gokoku Shrine. Follow the path and look left for this view. A closer view of the shrine building. Some kind of blessing was going on inside. The shape of the shrine building was rather unusual.

Who wants to do anything but "go somewhere" when there are so many great somewheres to go to? Housework will always wait till there is time to think about it. It's not going anywhere.
@Gramcface - Housework will wait, but my compuker might run away....
