  • Bz visit - day 2, pt. 1

    Today Sonny B got dragged to Karatsu!

    When these floats are not being dragged around the streets (see Karatsu Kunchi entries) they are housed in this exhibition hall behind glass.  B thought they were cool!

    These wooden models of the fish float were adorable, but not $50 worth.  I settled for just a picture.  It takes up less room, anyway.

    This is a watchtower near Karatsu Castle.  Hubby decided that he needed to visit a menz room and we kept ourselves occupied while we were waiting for him to take care of business.  B climbed up the stairs and...

    I forget what I was taking pictures of, so they must not have come out well.  I think it was just some leaves that I deleted.

    It was time for lunch, and B had some squid balls on the side.
