Random Thoughts to Ponder: God paints His glory on the canvas of time. God takes our messes and makes a message. Without God's timing, what might have been our greatest joy can become our most vexing frustration.  The secret of Christianity is not asking Jesus into your heart; it is Jesus asking us into His.The Bible is not about making bad people good. It is about making dead people alive. The journey to peace leaves kneeprints. Believing lies leads to sin. Believing truth leads to good. The source of depression is fear. Hang in there, life isn't always what we make it: sometimes it's what makes us. Is offending God's truth by murmuring, doubt and disbelief as bad as offending God's righteousness by sinning? Gotta think about that. "There is no situation so chaotic that God cannot from that situation, create something that is surpassingly good. He did it at creation. He did it at the cross. He is doing it today." --Handley C. G. Moule "If ya can't say somethin' good, don't say nuthin' at all." - Thumper's Mom "Guchi wo itte mo hajimaranai." - Great Grandma Kuma - Lord, thank you for giving me every day exactly what I would ask for if I knew what to ask for. God shares His grace but not His glory. Laziness is also the mother of invention. Maybe stinginess, too. Why do I make it so difficult for myself to choose joy? God, if you are so creative, couldn't you find another way? "My way is perfect. Why should I change?" We are not humans beings going through a temporary spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings going through a temporary human experience. Irritated oysters make pearls. The Joy of the Lord is my strength. May He give me the grace to truly delight in His will. Jesus never panics or whines. Prayer is about me doing God's will, not Him doing mine. Ich will nur dir zu ehren leben. You become what you think about all day. Abba, arewethereyet arewethereyet arewethereyet? Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves for they shall never cease to be amused.
