  • Lots of it hitting the fan in the past month. Lots of furniture rearranging as well, all thanks to the sphincter.

  • Old Hat the Time Traveler

    Speaking of time changing...
I have read a lot of time travel books in my life. I enjoy the possibilities and the differing theories about time travel. The one thing they all seem to have in common is the idea that someone could go back in time and accidentally make some small, seemingly insignificant change there that really makes a huge impact on their own place in the timeline. That some small act in the past could radically alter the future. Seriously, it's in every book about time travel. So many people accept that idea, and yet, we are surrounded by people who don't think any of the simple things they do in this present moment are going to have a significant impact on the future.

We are all time travelers. Moving into the future one day at a time. I think what we are doing matters. I think it matters more than we can begin to understand.

  • Worship Team Attire

Saw this on a live church broadcast yesterday. It is a screen shot, not a video, so don't worry if you can't play it. Am I an old prude, or is this inappropriate for a worship team member? He is on a stage supposedly drawing the worshipers' attention to a Holy God, not to his rugged, masculine self. His bare chest cleavage should not be on display. I don't insist on suits and ties, but please, wear something underneath or button it up, sir.

Another one - different church having a concert in a park. Um, just no. Churches need dress codes if those on stage have so little common sense.
