  • Ohori Koen Park, Fukuoka 8/1/2008

    Tonight is fireworks at Ohori Koen Park, two subway stops away.  I didn't take many pictures of the crowds because we were looking for a place to sit in the crowds.  Luckily we found one with a good view!

    These girls are dressed in traditional fireworks-viewing garb called yukata.  The lace bow is a nice touch.

    And the show begins!  I find fireworks very difficult to photograph, and end up deleting half of what I take.  These were the shots that I liked best.
