Went to see the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie - They are starting to substitute special effects for a plot. I am still on jet lag and cold meds so I occasionally shut my eyes and my mind wandered during all the battle scenes. When I snapped to again I found that I had not really missed anything. There is not even enough plot to spoil. "Will Turner's son finds trident and breaks spell," and that is all there really is to the story. We knew that was going to happen anyway. Time to send the Pirates to Davy Jones' locker.
